Default Question regarding CS and CTS

Does the price of the Gryphon CS and CTS include any custom tunes or just the canned tunes?

Just the canned tunes. Some people don't want or need three custom tunes. I'm one of those - I need only 87 octane custom towing and non-towing tunes. It would be sad to be paying for something I didn't need (because if the tune price was included, you'd be paying it).

So, by the time I get the ficm tuned, the ecm/tcm rolled back, buy a gryphon cs or cts, and then get the custom tunes...I'm looking at $900-$1100?

Sorry, Lineman. I don't know anything about the other charges, but the prices you see on the PHP website are the ones you pay for the CS or CTS when you purchase it from PHP. I believe most all custom tunes are then $30.00 each.

$30 isn't so bad. For some reason I was thinking they were around $65 or more. So...how do you like yours and which one do you have?

OK, I have a 2005 gas truck. I was one of the first to convert an older Edge Evo to a Gryphon and I got a custom tow tune with the conversion. This seemed to improve my gas mileage by about 0.5 mpg. You can also read a "user review" on PHP's website. Later, I got a non-tow custom tune (both are for 87 octane) and I wanted this one optimized for highway driving and passing on 2-lane roads in the 60 mph range. I don't do a lot of city driving in the truck. I'm happy with both these tunes.

Still later, since I'm a mod here, and because I wanted to be able to talk intelligently about the things, I got a CTS from PHP. The tunes are exactly the same, so they just had to upload them to the Fusion server. I still have BOTH programmers, so I can discuss both in these forums. (OK, I wanted the "bling" of the CTS too, I admit it.)

I have never put any of the high-priced gas (over 87 octane) into my truck and don't intend to. I'm not a "racer" and don't need to impress the ladies. I just want my truck to get around slowpokes and pull my trailer.
