Lineman is on a distinguished road
Default mounting a cts

I have an 07 f-250 with the driver's side grab handle on the a pillar. will the cts work with the dash pod or will the grab handle get in the way and have to go?

Thanks,

Mike

These things are made by Edge. (Actually made FOR Edge). If THEY say the pod will work in your F250, I am 99.99% sure it will. I doubt seriously they would market anything that would make you take off the "Texas Two-Step Grab Handle". You've possibly seen my critical posts on Edge here in the past, but this would be just a bit TOO much!

It will fit using the adapter piece, but it will be wedged beneath it.

As you can tell from the pic's, the pod will not sit flat because of this.

Thank you for the pics, Dave.

I've never seen one mounted with a pod.

It's NOT a very good fit, is it? Wonder why they couldn't have gotten it better?

If the mount was designed for the CTS (larger opening) it would be fine, but the retro fit sucks.

It IS a huge unit (that's what she said) and Ford didn't exactly make those grab handles compact.

The CTS is just too big to fit. If you look, the lower right hand corner almost touches the dash and it's not going to fit any farther to the left (looks to be about 1/2" from the edge of the door weatherstrip where the door butts up to it).

I was actually complaining about the way the pod sits on the dash. The base of the pod doesn't seem to conform well to the curvature.
