I got my Gryphon CS back in January with 3 custom tunes. I'm in love with it and have had zero problems until last week. It was near 100 degrees and when I was driving home from work my screen would "flutter" then go blank. I messed with it a bit by hitting the menu button a few times and made sure all the connections were tight. All seemed fine. This continued most of the way home until it finally came back on and stayed. I figured it was an issue with the extreme heat in the cab all day. But the next morning the same thing happened on my way to work. Screen would come on and off, flutter then go blank. It wasn't any more than 65 degrees then. I didn't drive my truck all weekend but when I left for work this morning my CS screen was really faint and it eventually faded to black. The unit was still working since I could hear the beep that occurs when you press the menu button. I stopped to get gas and when I started my truck back up the screen was again really faint and then faded to black and stayed blank the rest of my drive. Any ideas on what the problem could be?? Should I contact Corey or Bill??

Call Edge and get a return authorization number from the customer service department. They will have to fix it or replace it.

Thanks for the reply Cody. Any idea on how I can get my truck back to stock before I send my CS back in to Edge?

Don't worry about it until you get your programmer back. Bill will have to reset your download status to write a stock file and then it won't be any problem to put your custom tunes back on your programmer.

Same here except my screen has been dead completely for a day. Buttons still beep so still seems to work but nothing visual. No previous sign of it fading just started truck up this morning and was blank. Took 3 hour road trip and still blank.

Any other way to troubleshoot before calling Edge?
Any thing should mention to Edge about it being OEM partner device with PHP?

I just received a replacement CS unit from Edge after my screen went blank 3 weeks ago. I too was unable to reload my truck to stock before sending the unit in for repair.

How do I get both my stock file along with my two custom tunes onto the new unit?

Good to hear Edge got the device handled for you. Now, here's what you'll need to do next.

When you first plug the new device in and go to program the truck, the programmer will identify that the ECM is not stock and instruct you to connect to Fusion and retrieve a stock calibration from their server. Connect to Fusion and let the device download the stock calibration. Upon reconnecting to the vehicle, the programmer will return your truck to stock and then will be able to use the canned programs. Once the return to stock process is complete, let me know and I'll reload your custom tunes to Fusion to download on your new device.
