About a month or so ago I received my personal custom tunes, and love them. However I have noticed there is a strange growling noise and vibration in the pedal at about 1700-1800 RPM at around 40 mph or higher. It actually always occurs but it is really noticeable at higher speeds. I think it's related to the transmission, but I'm really not sure. Has anyone also gotten this problem before, and I already messaged Bill but never got anything back. I'm guessing he is just busy, so any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the forum. I've never experienced what you describe and a "growling" sound doesn't sound like anything the transmission would make. I don't think Bill really checks his PMs, because if he did, he'd never have time to write tunes. He may respond here, but if he doesn't post again - we moderators try to direct him to people with problems. In the meantime, could you complete all the information in your User Profile? It might help Bill to help you.

It's a weird thing, and it's very hard to explain. I just know this problem only occurs with a tune, and not while I have it on stock.

When he says he messaged me, he means he e-mailed me. I got the e-mail he sent on Saturday but I'm still a little behind from vacation.
Matt, I'll take a look as quickly as possible but like Jack said, it doesn't sound like a transmission related issue. It is most likely related to camshaft timing adjustments causing reverberations through the intake. Do you, by chance, have a Gott's mod or CAI? To answer 88 Racing - It's a 2004. Take care.
