AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR CUSTOM TUNES, DO NOT PLUG YOUR PROGRAMMER BACK INTO FUSION, OR YOUR CUSTOM TUNES WILL BE ERASED! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CONNECT TO FUSION FOR EDGE'S LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE, YOU WILL ERASE YOUR CUSTOM TUNES! |

My CS was replaced earlier. The new unit would not auto-dim and after contacting Edge, they sent me out a new unit which I received today.
How do I get my Custom Tunes loaded onto this new device? My invoices from Power Hungry were 4416 and 4235. The new unit's SN is 200-017-180. I take it that I need to return my F150 back to stock and then connect the new unit via Fusion once my custom tunes are re-loaded? Thanks, Mark |

But, Edge has just put out a new firmware upgrade, and I doubt they would have installed that on your unit before shipping it. So, you'll need to install that upgrade first before your custom tunes are put on the server. Set your truck to stock and connect the CS to Fusion. It should install the Version 3.0 upgrade automatically (unless you need to reregister, since you have a new unit. If that's the case, DO reregster and then install the update.) Once you've done this, you should be able to use the canned tunes while you're waiting for the custom tunes to be reloaded. I think you'll need to get hold of Bill or Cody for this. They may not see your thread here. (Suddenly, they seem busy again.) And, Please complete all the information you can in your User Profile now too. - Jack

Are we working on re-loading the custom tunes?
Haven't heard anything in two days? Either via email or on this forum! Little frustrating given this is now the 3rd Edge CS unit since my initial purchase in April 2011..... 1st unit - screen went completely dead. 2nd unit - won't auto-dim 3rd unit - waiting for custom tunes before installing. I also want to point out that this is not Power Hungry's fault in any way shape or form. Power Hungry has been very good throughout each replacement process. Nevertheless we are all forced todo unnecessary work ( shipping defective units, calling tech support, reposting customer tunes ) due to these issues. ![]() When the unit is working - I am very pleased with it's capabilities and performance. Just wish it was reliable so we both could avoid having to go through this effort! |

I am fairly certain that you need to update your CS before they upload the tunes, but I am not 100%... it won't hurt if you update it now and have the tunes loaded to the server later.

On 08-16-2011 I connected the new CS to Fusion where it performed all the updates. Just waiting now for the custom tunes to be re-loaded.

I must have missed that you did that, If you need your tunes really really soon, you should call PHP and ask them to do them asap, if you don't then you will just have to wait for them to be converted when Bill gets to them. Hope that helps.
