Gryphon™ CS and CTS Programmer Post here if you have a question or comment about the Gryphon CS (Color Screen) or CTS (Color Touch Screen) Programmer.

AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR CUSTOM TUNES, DO NOT PLUG YOUR PROGRAMMER BACK INTO FUSION, OR YOUR CUSTOM TUNES WILL BE ERASED!

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CONNECT TO FUSION FOR EDGE'S LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE, YOU WILL ERASE YOUR CUSTOM TUNES!

Default Looking for CS info.

Is there one place that lists step by step what a person needs to do after ordering a Gryphon CS or CTS? I've been searching, but seem to only find info in bits and pieces throughout different threads on the forums. Seems a little confusing, or is it just me??? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Perhaps we can help, if we knew what information you were looking for.

Basically, once you order and pay for the thing, you just wait for it to arrive. It's shipped from the Edge plant in Utah. When you get it, you read the manual and install it in your vehicle. (It's VERY easy to do.)

Now, if you are wanting custom tunes, you need to follow the directions on this forum page: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/give-...-ecm-tcm-code/ and create a thread with your name as the title!

And, if there are more questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the info.. Gryphon CS has been ordered with custom tunes, and it is suppose to ship tomorrow. I also seen the thread about the Hex code, which I also give them my serial # off the CS when I get it? Does it also have to be emailed to them? What is the Fusion firmware used for and where do I find it? Thanks again!

Fusion will be on a disk that ships with your CS, but it CAN be downloaded from PHP or Edge's website. You install Fusion on a PC and then, with it running, plug the CS into your PC using the USB cable to "register" the CS on Edge's server. Your tunes, when written, are loaded on to the Fusion server and then you plug your CS into Fusion again to transfer them to your CS.

You do not email PHP anything. But you DO include the Serial Number of your CS and Hex/Calibration code from your truck in the thread you create.
