Wish it would but it only works with windows. If you have VMware fusion or parallels with windows you could use fusion on it.

Any preference on which of those you like? It appears VMware is $50 and parallels is $80.

I don't have experience with either. I know a couple of people that use parallels and have no complaints. You will still need a version of windows to install, parallels and VMware are just programs that let you launch windows like any other program on a Mac.

I was also wondering the same thing... I just purchased my CS a week ago and waiting for it to arrive.. I have all MAC's... I may have to take my old HP to the computer shop and have them fix it up for me to be able to update the tuner...

Don't waste time or money fixing an old computer to "update" anything. The only reason to EVER hook your CS/CTS to Fusion would be to download custom tunes (and even then, it usually only takes one time). Ask anybody who's "updated" their CS/CTS recently how much of a good thing it really was.....just browse the forum and look for one regarding the Version 3.0 update.

Put Fusion on a friend or family member's computer.

How often do you have to update it? I'll probably only do 2 custom tunes but i'll have all my mods ready for installation before I get the tunes.. I wouldn't want to fix a laptop or buy a new one for a one time use type deal....

On your year truck probably never again unless there's a major update.....just understand if you update at anytime after your custom tunes are installed on the programmer......the update will put the canned tunes back on and then you'll have to.request php to upload them again to fusion.......

The answer is: "Once". This device is not like a PC where you are constantly updating drivers/virus checkers, etc. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The last time I connected my CTS to Fusion was when I downloaded my custom tunes, and that was April, 2009. In fact, I've built a new computer since then and haven't even bothered to install Fusion on it.

People who are constantly trying to "update" their CS/CTS units usually find they screw them up and they have to call Bill to fix them.
