I am having this same problem with my 2006 F150. Gotts mod with Magnaflow SISO, sputters between 1st and 2nd at WOT. Has occurred at power levels 1 and 2, does not occur at stock tune. Next tank will be 91 octane so will try at power level 3, but not sure it will change. The reports I have read indicate that Edge support on this can be hit or miss at best. Seems like my best option will be to move on a custom tune, which I intended to do anyway.

I just got my custom tunes from PHP and they work fine, so I'm not worried about the Edge tunes now

How hard was it to get them on your programmer?

Plug it up to Fusion and it's just like an update from edge. Loading 3 tunes onto mine took a minute or two

Great! Mine should be here in ten days. How close was their est. date to the actual? Did they just email you and tell you or did you have to plug it in and then they sent them to you? That part is kinda unclear but simple I'm sure.

The estimated time was 4-6 weeks and I got mine in about 5. There are apparently some major problems with Fusion. I wouldn't plug your programmer into it again without contacting PHP first. I think I unknowingly timed my updating just right so my tunes didn't get erased. But yeah, they email you and tell you that your tunes are on Fusion and you just plug up your programmer and it downloads the tunes. Contact PHP before you do anything though or your custom tunes might get erased as soon as they get downloaded. I think I was just lucky it didn't happen to me. My tunes are on and working fine

Yeah that's what I was just reading last night. And what got me thinking when you said you updated yours.. You must have gotten lucky! Nevertheless I'm going to call before I do anything to ensure that it's safe to update.

Yeah definitely call before you do anything. I didn't find out about these problems until I had already updated and gotten my tunes on

I had the same problem as the original poster. When it asks you if you want to customize on changing the program - choose no (or know every setting that you need to make). the tunes seem to have a problem with wide open throttle and shift points when you attempt to "customize" but keep the default points (remember - we used to have to do this to put in our tire sizes and such).

I did do the customize option to accommodate my 4.56 gears and 35" tires so I guess that might have been my problem. I never tried to without customizing it for gears and tire size. The PHP custom tunes are working fine for me now though. 16mpg average city and 15mpg average interstate. I'm pretty happy
