Default Starting to regret CS purchase

Anybody else starting to regret the purchase of a CS or CTS unit. I've had mine since August and haven't been able to use any of the tunes. Canned tunes caused pinging, edge was of no support so I ordered custom tunes and those have caused pinging. Now PHP is in a holding pattern because of Edges updates. Starting to wish I went with another programmer.

I am not impressed either. Ordered mine in October, had issues with the tranny shifting with the canned tunes. Contacted Edge couple times, and never did fix it. Figured I may as well wait for my custom tunes, and I am still waiting because of issues. So, I have a fancy Edge display on my dash, just to remind me I am still in the stock setting...

I was thinking the same thing as ya'll. The canned tunes aren't worth on a modified truck, and edge can't help much with that. I left my CS on stock until I got my custom tunes from PHP. I'm pretty happy with my custom tunes now that I finally have them. This new problem with the whole updating and tunes getting erased thing is making the whole process complicated. I got really lucky with mine. I downloaded my custom tunes just fine, and a day or 2 later everybody started having stuff go wrong. I would say just be patient and let PHP work everything out. The issues with downloading are more Edge's fault than PHP's

It seems that edge can't get their stuff together. Issues with the 3.0 update and now everything that's going on now. Seems like super chips might have been a better choice. This was a $500 mistake.

Edge's customer service does need to get their act together. They attempted to fix a shifting problem with the canned tunes on mine 3 times and it didn't work. Now I have my custom tunes, everything is good

Sorry to hear about your issues.

I've had my CTS since October 2009 with no issues. I've been extremely impressed with PHP's support but very dissappointed in Edge's lack of support for the TCM.

However, I have not even tried to update via Fusion (except for the custom tune download). I'm simply going to wait until Edge's issues are resolved. In fact, I might even just skip the update all together (if it aint broke, don't fix it).

I wish I had a choice. When I bought mine it was already updated with 3.0 and all it's problems. Should be interesting to see the issues they have with the ecoboost.

I'm so sorry about your disappointment. It seems like I spend much of my day answering e-mails about Fusion and Edge's issues. If they can get their latest problem fixed, that should take care of everything, and we can get customers' custom tunes loaded. It's very frustrating on our end, too, since custom tunes are sitting here just waiting to be uploaded to Fusion, and our hands are tied while Edge gets their duckies in a row...
