15002 vs 15003

Does anyone know the differences between the Edge Evolution 15002 and the 15003. I know they are for different years of the Ford 6.0 diesel, but what I don't know is why. Are the computers different? Can a 15002 be reprogrammed to work on 2005-7 models?
