Default Want to buy a Gryphon

I have a 2008 F-150 4.6L and I am towing a 5800# travel trailer. The truck does rather well in Michigan terrain but when I am climbing a hill it will sometimes shift into second gear which is no big deal. The problem comes when trying to get back into 3rd. I have to completely let off the throttle wait a second then slowly get back into it to make it upshift.

If I buy a programmer with custom tunes can the tunes be programmed to fix this issue? Will there be a noticable increase in towing power with the Gryphon?

Thanks,
Jeff

A programmer will definitely help with the shift points and yes, there will be an increase in power, especially with a custom tow tune.

The tow tune helps on take off power and adjusts the shift points.....upper rpms can be considered the same as stock.....
