The only reason to set it back to stock is either 1) you're selling the truck without the tuner or 2) you're talking it to the dealer and don't want the dealer to know you've tuned the truck (even if you do set back to stock, if he wants to investigate, he wil be able to determine it was recently flashed).

Shotgun's correct. There's no reason to set your truck back to stock unless you want to drive a truck that's "badly tuned".
![]() Seriously though, read through this Q & A: Q And A About the Gryphon's Custom Options Menu Near the bottom you will find the reasons for setting the truck back to the stock tune. You might also look at this post: Should I Set My Truck's Tune Back to Stock Before an Emissions Test? which tells you why you should not set the tune to stock prior to an emissions test. - Jack

Before disconnecting the battery disconnect the programmer.....that's about it....
