I have had my gryphon since late 08 if I recall correct. I have never had an issue with it, and am wondering if there is any reason to update it. It has only been plugged into the computer once when I received it for some custom tune changes. I'm just curious if it needs to be updated. Or if I should just roll with what I have, and worry about it if issues should arise.

I wouldn't. The kind of updates Bill has for the Gryphon are for specific issues and if you've not had problems, there's no reason to risk a corrupt firmware download. I've had my old monochrome Gryphon longer than you've had yours, and the last time it was updated was when I got my second tune in 08.

I've never updated my CTS since getting the custom tunes for it.

That's kind of what I figured. I couldn't really find any thing about having no issues, and gaining anything from the update. Except maybe causing issues. Thanks for the reply.
