Exclamation LIVE TUNING NEAR DAYTON, OHIO

Hey Everyone!

We've mentioned it to various people and in different places, but I thought I should probably make a formal announcement on here, too.

We are currently trying to organize a live tuning event at a dyno near Dayton, Ohio. This dyno would not be too far off of I-70 and a little bit East of I-75, which would be a nice clean route from IN, KY, and even MI! We had thought about doing in in February, but it looks like we may be in Washington, D.C. in late February, so we may have to move it to March or June.

If you're interested, please check out the thread in this section titled Live Tuning and Dyno Tuning for information about pricing, etc. Feel free to post questions, too. If you have the question, I'm sure there are other people who have the same one but are afraid to ask (something I learned as a teacher).

We will only be able to schedule 10 trucks maximum for this event, so if you ARE interested in Bill live tuning your truck, please let us know. Customers will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.

Bill and I were just talking about it about an hour ago! We're going to talk with one of our dealers in the Lancaster area and see if they might be up for us doing some live tuning the last week of April. That way, we could take care of our customers in NE Ohio/western PA, hit Hershey, and then go by Zinn's for breakfast all in one trip! We should know something by the weekend.

That would be cool!!! I know of 2 trucks in western pa (midway between Pittsburgh and Erie) right now that are in need of being live tuned, they are both street driven pulling trucks. I know weve been talking about getting the software to tune ourselves also. I have small diesel business and would be interested in becoming a dealer, but i really dont sell that much stuff!! I sell a chip about every 6 months End of April would be good to so keep me updated!!!! Thanks

Selling chips is really a show and tell kind of thing. You gotta get the customer into a truck with a tuner and run a stock tune then switch on a hot tune and let them compare.... Then you gotta tell them how its the best bang for the buck and sell them the stuff to go with it.. Gauges, exhaust, intake should just about go with every chip... If they don't want the ancillary stuff, give them some milder tunes and then they can return for the extra stuff later... Offer a free tuen with exhaust or intake upgrade etc...

I just work from home at the moment but would love to get into tuning professionally at some point...
