LOL..........

I am going to have to stare at a wire diagram for a while to figure out how to hook everything up, make a adapter and mod a spare valve cover, but should be interesting.

If I had the spare $9K to drop on one of those and all of the accessories, I'd have one in a heartbeat.

I would put all of my tuning stuff on it (since it's XP-based) and leave the crappy laptop at home.

It is a VERY capable tool with alot of neat features. For the few weeks I have been using it I have just about fell in love with it. I love the ability to do everything from the driver seat, and the way it is linked up with Shopkey (Mitchell) is cool too. Not sure yet if I like the Shopkey program and it's layout, I guess am too use to AllData.

There is a few things I dislike about the tool, mostly that it still uses the stupid "personality keys". I wouldn't mind them so bad if they could be near the scanner and not hanging below your feet just waiting to be stepped on.

I cant wait to get some time on the scope, hopefully soon I can get some stuff put together.

Cody, if you want to borrow it some time just stop by and grab it...........

Yeah, Mitchell is not real user-friendly and I prefer Alldata hands down. I used Alldata for 7 years until my employer figured out that Mitchell was a few dollars cheaper . I have access to Mitchell through my old shop account (they haven't figured out yet that I'm using it ) and I used to be able to get Alldata through a friend's account, but it's shut down now.

The Verus is definitely on top of my Christmas list.

Oh, by the way, the best Girl Scout Cookies are the Samoyas.

They are...........those were given to me because they didn't look very good.

I haven't tried any yet.

Do you think there is more info available with Mitchell?

I don't know about more information, but I had to learn really quickly how to actually FIND the information.

Mitchell is not much fun to navigate and finding what you want is a pain at times. The ONLY good things that Mitchell has are their own wiring diagrams and the customer repair quote spreadsheet. I don't use their wiring diagrams for Ford/GM stuff, but their import wiring diagrams are GREAT compared to the factory diagrams that Alldata has. I can't read factory import wiring diagrams.......

Well I got a little spare time at work today so I decided to throw the scope on the truck and see what my timing looks like.

Here is a shot of it cruising 55, @15*......

Yellow trace is injector, green is CPS.

Here is one of it WOT at 3000 RPM, which was pretty scary because of the icy roads......

Looks to be about 30* of advance.

Next project it to have my pressure transducer adapter made and see what is really going on.
