Default Taming Large Injectors

Just a MFD adjustment or way more?

Mostly the base pulsewidth map followed by MFD then computed SOI then ICP.

Here's something over at the Nation that will make you see where PW adjustments will come in really handy:

Compare each injector (particularly the ones with larger nozzles) for given data like ICP and PW milliseconds.

Just saw that this morning, very cool!

What changes would be made to the SOI?

Use less advance because of the higher injection rate?

Exactly.

You'll get more fuel in less time (crank rotational time) with larger nozzles so therefore you'll want to start the injection event a little later.

Would you use less advanced SOI in the higher ICP ranges or would it be a "global" thing?
