Howdy!

My name is Rebecca, and I am new to these forums. I just received my Gryphon today, and I'm excited to get started- but there lies the problem... I am new to programmers in general, and have no idea what I'm doing. I've stalked the forum for a while, and will probably be asking the same questions every newb ask

I am a Moderator over at Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans - Powered by vBulletin , so I kinda know how these places work

Anyhow, here is my ride- 2008 Ford F150 4.6L
6" Fabtech lift with Dirt Logic coilovers
AAL's in the rear
S&B CAI
40 Series Flowmaster muffler with 4" piping and a 5" tip turned out in front of the rear tire

Could anyone point me in the right direction as far as where to start? I downloaded the Pegasus software, and that's where I'm stuck LOL.

Welcome! and if you just got the gryphon, you should be able to plug it into your truck and have the canned tunes ready to go. once you get your hex code from your truck you should post that in the right spot on the forum , then your custom tunes will get started as soon as Bill can get to them.

also, idk if you have done it and I have no way of checking, but it really helps if you have problems to put all the information that you can in your user profile. Moderators can check it to get and let Bill know of problems.

Welcome, Rebecca. What ticopowell was referring to is here: User Profile

I see you still need to enter your "hex"/"calibration" code once you connect your Gryphon to the truck and can read it.

The owner's manual is really very clear about how to install the thing in your vehicle. Once you start custom tuning, I recommend you read the FAQs about using the "Custom Options Menu", which is in this section along with a bunch of other very useful info: FAQs - Gryphon™ Programmer - Power Hungry Performance Forum

Thank you guys so much. Sorry for the delayed response lol... I have updated everything since, and sent over my HEX code.

Jesus, running this thing with just the canned tunes makes it an entirely differet truck! Can't wait to get those custom tunes!
