Help on loading the new tune(moved)

Just wanted to see if any of you guys have run into this problem. So I loaded the Pegasus program and it seems to work good then I connected the gryphon and went through the loading wizard but the program does not see the gryphon. Im thinking that I screwed up the loading wizard thats why its not seeing it. If anyone knows of a solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

What windows version you using?
Did you load all drivers?
There is another download for vista that needs to be done also.
After downloading do a restart.

OK, bear with me while I ask a few questions.
1. You've got Pegasus on your PC and when you click on the shortcut icon, you see the "Flying Red Horse" splash screen followed by an "empty" window that shows "Pegasus v2.01.-0575" on the title bar at the top, correct?

2. You have reprogrammed your truck to Level 0 (stock) before you took the Gryphon out of it and connected it to your PC, correct?

3. When you plug the Gryphon into the PC, with Pegasus already running, does the screen on the Gryphon light up? I seem to recall that mine lights up "red", what does yours do?

4. With the Gryphon plugged in, I understand you are NOT seeing "connected" and your Gryphon's Serial Number (S/N) on the Status Bar at the bottom of the Pegasus window?

5. What operating system are you using? Is it XP, 32-bit Vista or 64-bit Vista? Pegasus does not work on 64-bit Vista and you MAY still have to temporarily disable the User Account Code (UAC) to get it to work right. The instructions are in the Pegasus manual.
If you think there could be a problem with the Pegasus installation, try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, following the instructions in the Pegasus User Manual. Make sure the drivers install properly.

(As usual, Lars was too quick for me.)

I moved the thread to the area appropriate to where the problem is.
