DO go ahead and download and install Pegasus. Also, download the user manual and read it, especially if you use Vista. If you have 64-bit Vista, Pegasus won't work, so find an XP or 32-bit Vista machine. And, once you have it installed, set your Gryphon back to Level 0 (stock) and plug it in to the PC with Pegasus running. Pegasus should recognize your Gryphon. DO register your Gryphon on Pegasus - it's done through the Help->Registration option. Once you have done this, you'll be able to see if your tunes are ready - and you won't have to have the Gryphon plugged in to do this! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Welcome to our happy band of tuning nuts! ![]() - Jack

Since you don't have custom tunes yet, updating the calibrations simply made some changes to your "canned" tunes. This should not harm anything. Once you get your custom tunes though, DO NOT update the calibrations! If you do, it will wipe out your custom tunes.
