Default Version question

I installed Pegasus on my PC laptop, I downloaded version 201.0575, It didn't seem to work.
The only application box that would work was register but it would not complete the process.
So I uninstalled re started then re installed re started, same thing.

I started searching through posts and found another pegasus download, I honestly couldn't tell you where other than it was from this forum or off PHP's site. ( too much confused searching)

It works perfectly, when I open Pegasus in the very top blue bar it shows Pegasus v2.01.0594. When I selected Pegasus update manager it showed several updates available which it automagically down loaded and installed. Everything seems to work as intended.
Is the version I have now correct?

Thanks.

Dang long winded way to ask a simple question isn't it.

The latest version should be found at www.powerhungryperformance.com on the downloads page. If your running vista 32 you should install the mcommvista download also its towards the bottom of the page. Vista what fun ms piece of work!
Glad you got it to run. Bill has done some extensive modding to pegasus to get it to work. If you are running xp there hasn't really been any problems.
Bill is also trying to work on compatiblity issues, mainly drivers, for xp 64 and vista 64.

Thanks for responding.
I'm using Windows XP pro v 2002 service pack 3.

I followed the link you provided, downloaded v2.01.0575 again, no worky same as before. It does not recognize my system at all. Nothing appears in the boxes at the bottom except disconnected, I understand this means my "G" unit isn't connected which it is not. None of the drop down boxes at the top work (drop down) except help then register. It would not allow me to even type my info into any of the registration field boxes.

Pegasus v2.01.0594 recognizes my system as 2k / NT/ XP in the bottom box 4th from the left, also, the box to the right has my HD serial # in it. Using the help drop down then OS info, then in windows operating environment, the box asking if it is 64 bit says false.
Since I didn't answer set or touch any of the questions, I assumed Pegasus done figured out what the system configuration is on its own.
I saved v2.01.0594 everything thing works, registration was a breeze.

Are there going to be problems with using this version?

Thanks.

You're way ahead of us, Rustler! ".0594" is indeed a new version of Pegasus. Why the earlier version (.0575) didn't work on your PC is a mystery to me. I was using .0575 until a minute ago when I had Pegasus check for updates and it found .0594. I wonder if there's something corrupt in the PHP Pegasus download file that has the new build in it? You should be fine with the new version.

Bill or Corey, if you read this, you may want to look at the full install download.

Jack,

We're aware of the need for the installer update. There are a few things we've been waiting on before we rebuilt the installer and one of them was the new Vista64 drivers. We've tested those out on a few machines and so far it's looking really good. I should have the build completed this weekend.

Enjoy!
