Looks like .0594 is the current version. Bill WAS going to release a newer one, but I suspect it's been delayed. If I were you, I'd go ahead and update yours to .0594.
I don't think you "run" mscomm32.ocx at all. It's an "active-x" control. I just did a search on my system (Windows XP) and the only instance of that file is in the C:WINDOWSsystem32 folder. Try moving the file to that folder on your machine and see what happens. - Jack

same thing, something is wrong with the download or something. Still tells me there are no files to be processed and then it tells me that "Component MS...or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
I have all the files so it must think that one of them is "invalid" *I made sure that it unzipped them in the folder Windows/system32 We'll see if there is a problem when my tunes come in. So far I'm just using pegasus to change splash screens and its working for now. It will probably work and if not, the new version that is somewhere in the land of 'coming soon', will probably be able to fix it. BTW: now its telling me my serial number was not located on the server, dont remember it telling me that but it might have.(hmmm?)

I kind of see your problem. In my case, when I attempt to unzip the ".OCX" installer, it fails because the current file is "in use", so it can't be replaced. I DO have a program that will close all the handles to any active file, so that it CAN be replaced. The question is, do I want to try it?
Whoops! In right clicking on that file in system23, I was given a menu choice to either "unregister" or to "register" this component. Since yours is unregistered, try clicking on mscomm32.ocx and see if you can "register" it. - Jack |

ActiveX controls can be a bit finicky with registration. For the moment, you might just be better off leaving things alone until I get the installer rebuilt with the latest version.
Release has been delayed a little while I am fixing a couple other small issues. Was hoping to have things done sooner but, as always, things come up. Thanks again for being patient.

I had just looked into it and I found that there was no registration for the activex file, or anything that was associated to the MSCOMM32.
![]() So it looks like a mysterious dead end so I'm leaving it alone. Also on a side note, about what number are you at on the tunes, just curious.
