Default v2.01.0594

I hit update in Pegasus and v2.01.0594 comes up, hit apply update and it down loads, says update successfull downloaded, software restart needed to complete download, after hitting ok I get ' component comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Can some one explain this to me?

Thanks

Vern

Evidently Bill hasn't released the new version yet.?
Can't remember the latest?
The newest version should take care of this.

Lars

I will locate the version # and edit it in.

Still trying to figure out what exactly the problem is with the MSCOMM32.OCX. I am quite puzzled buy this issue.

Now that I am caught up on custom tunes (which by the way, if you haven't gotten yours, please let us know) and will be shortly caught up on upgrades, I'll have time to finish the software problems along with any outstanding driveability issues.

Thanks to everyone for being patient. It's tough to have to do all the technical stuff by yourself. As soon as the last few little buggies are squared away, we'll have the next release for Pegasus ready to go. At least the new drivers are working well on the 64 platforms.

Take care.

Vern, I want to help, but I can't. I am not seeing your problems with my installation of Pegasus, so I can't even begin to suggest a cure for you. Are you running Vista? That may be the problem, since I'm using XP on ALL my computers.

Have you tried totally removing Pegasus from your PC (and maybe editing the registry to remove any "Pegasus" references) before trying to download and reinstall it? I've had to do this before with other programs that were misbehaving.

Wish I could help, but this is all I can offer.

- Jack

Great! I know Vista is giving Bill fits right now with it's quirky behavior. Trouble is, XP won't last forever. Wonder if Windows 7 will be any nicer?

We can only imagine and dream how much nicer it will be!
Thought Microsoft had a good thing going with 95+98 but screwed it up with ME, then XP came along but screwed it up with vista again.
Oh well
