Default Can't connect to update

Just got the email that my tune is ready. Load up Pegasus and plug in the Gryphon. Everything connects fine, but when I click on the "Target Functions" i get the following error...

Quote:
"Unable to locate a Target Instruction file. Process failed

Update failed. Please contact your vendor for assistance."
What am I doing wrong?

I may be wrong but I thought that was the message that I got back when my tunes wasn't on the server yet,(long time ago tho) which that shouldnt be the case since you got an email. Hopefully someone will come along and help you figure it out, so that you can start enjoying the new tunes.

OK, guys, I'll try to attract Bill's attention on this. I suspect it's something VERY simple, like a Serial Number mixup (which has happened in the past). I see that BOTH of you have your User Profile up to date, so that's good.

I had the same problem downloading my custom tunes tonight but all is well now. Jack you must have some pull around here !! I first updated pegasus to ver.#201.0612. Then I went to targeted functions and it went smooth as silk. I can't wait till morning for my drive to work.

It's fixed. Or should be. I haven't tried but Corey sent an email saying the server was screwed but that it's fixed now.

rif-raff - You give me WAY too much credit. Bill was working on what was in fact a server problem as I was entering my last post. I'm delighted he seems to have fixed the problem, but then he tends to work miracles. I'm glad you, bennykeith and Lonestar can finally try out your tunes, I know it was hard to wait for them!

I can't get mine to work. I can't even download the Pegasus update. It seems like it downloads then I get another error message, "Component "MSCOMM32.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Again, Am I doing something wrong? I've tried it on two different computers in my house. Pegasus is downloaded to both. What gives? Is this a computer issue?

Check this thread...

COMDLG32.OCX and/or MSCOMM32.OCX issues...

This should help.
