Pegasus is a client-server application.

Your PC is the client. PHP maintains the server.

Your custom tunes and firmware updates exist on PHP's server only.

You will use Pegasus to download the custom tune from the server to your Gryphon. Custom tunes ARE NOT stored on your PC. If they were to somehow become corrupted on the Gryphon, they are always available on the server.

Here's a manual/quick start guide:

http://www.gopowerhungry.com/pegasus/pegasus_user_guide.pdf

Here's the software you need to download and install:

http://www.gopowerhungry.com/pegasus/Setup_Pegasus_v2_01_0616.exe

There is even a dedicated Pegasus forum:

Pegasus™ Client Server - Power Hungry Performance Forum

Having said all that, since you are upgrading an Edge, your new Gryphon should come with the custom tunes already loaded. Hence all you should have to do is follow the Gryphon installation procedure.

Have fun!

so all i have to do is plug and play, and i'm guessing that the Gryphon installation procedure would be just installing it in my truck and pluging it into my truck computer? and so right now i dont need pegasus

If you did the upgrade with custom tunes then the tunes will be already on the gryphon when you get it back.
If you want to swap/change splash screens then you'll use pegasus.
Peace!

And just for fun there is a gear ratio/tire size calculator and a horsepower calculator.

There is also a section about splash screens under the Gryphon forum.

If you have the 2004+ then you can also use the datalog feature. I've got a basic instruction sheet in my signature just below this.

The pegasus user guide will give you step by step instructions.

From their main page, hold your mouse over the Support tab and go down to the Download box, a new column will appear to the right of it. Follow down to Pegasus' user guide for the instructions and then Pegasus Client (V2.2.780).

Just tried the links and made sure they worked, which they did.
