This may be something stupid and I hope it is, however I am having some problems here. About a month ago I got an e-mail saying my tunes were ready which is great. but now I can't seem to get them, I have the software updated, at least i think i do, (v2.01.0640)and eveything looks ok on my end, pegasus looks like everything is normal on the bottom tray. and yet whenever I try to download my tunes or update anything it says...

interent error occured. 404
Unable to locate a Target Instruction file. Process failed

Update failed. Please contact your vendor for assistance.

i'm going on a trip in a couple of days and was hoping to have the tunes up and runing. i'm pretty good with computers and i just don't know why i would get the 404 message. I am using windows 7 atm in xp compatability mode. any help on this would be great!

It's not a problem on your end. I just tried to check for Pegasus updates and got the same 404 error.

I'm 99.9% sure Bill is doing some kind of maintenance on the server and this is what is causing the error. Usually, such problems go away in less than a day. Give it a try in the morning (or, even later on tonight). And, as I suspect you know, make sure you are clicking on [Updates]->[Custom File Download] with the Gryphon at Level 0 and showing "connected" in the Pegasus application.

yep gryphon is at 0 and it is showing connected. I will try it again later tonight or tomorrow morning and see what happens, thanks.

I tried last night around 11pm and again this morning at around 9:30am I know you said you got the same message but, i'm starting to wonder if it isn't somehow on my end. its just strange cause everything else looks like it is conected right.

I'm still getting the same error too. I doubt seriously it's anything on our end - my copy of Pegasus was working fine up to now, and, I have not done anything to change it.

I'll ask Bill about it in the Moderator's forum though. It's possible he's unaware of the problem.

Yep, i got the same thing. I just got my email from Corey today that my tunes were ready, so i ran to the truck like a 4 year old on Christmas morning to change it back to stock, came in, and getting the 404 error code... crap!

No, actually, I just try to keep from being "buried".

Sorry people are having to wait for their tunes though. It's kind of like some cruel person holding out a piece of candy to a kid and then snatching it away at the last moment, isn't it?

Bill is currently out of the office, but I let him know about the issue. He says it's something on our end, and he'll take a look at it as soon as he gets back.
