Default Run-time error '339'

Run-time error 339: Component 'ccrpprg6.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registerd: a file is missing or invalid

Trying to updeate the client, and it won't let me. I get that error everytime.
So, I installed a new copy of it, same thing.

It won't let me connect my Gryphon. I need to edit some things on it =(
All I get is a red screen.
Help please?

I am running Windows 7 64bit

Yes, you SHOULD be able to use Pegasus on Windows 7. Please read and follow the directions in this post: How To Repair A Faulty Driver Installation

If you follow the instructions you see there exactly, Pegasus should work just fine. If it doesn't, throw your computer away and get another one, (one that WILL run Pegasus).

I know, it looks like it's hard, but remember, "faint heart never won fair lady".

OK, then unless you have access to an XP machine, you probably WILL have to get with Bill. I'd suggest the new "online" chat feature they've set up and you'll probably give him control of your PC using "remote PC".

Again, though - IF you plugged the Gryphon in "even momentarily" before you had Pegasus up and running properly, it is likely that the driver installation is faulty and until you get rid of those drivers, nothing will work.

It's probably because your running Win 7 64 Bit and not 32.. There is a ton of stuff that doesnt work correctly with 64 bit systems.

I did a quick search for a Run Time Error 339.. What came up is that it's typically due to a registry error

I have a laptop with 64 bit Win 7.. I installed it on that laptop, updated it and all that jazz.. Worked fine for me..

So what I'd try first, uninstall the program. Find a good, free registry cleaner. Download.com is a trusted place to find stuff like that.. If you dont want to do that, I've got some a few programs that I use when repairing computers ( I do it on the side, I'm by no means a pro, but I'm no dummy either. I'm much better with hardware than I am software ) that I can hook ya up with.. Although I tend to use CCleaner more than I do anything else, it's free and does a safe, reliable job. But anytime you mess with system files, even more so the registry, you need to make sure your covered incase something goes wrong, doesnt happen very often at all, but the time it does is the time you really dont want it to. So a backup is a very good idea.

Run that, keep an eye out for anything related to PHP, thats what you want to get rid of. If the program will do it, make sure you backup your registry first, right on your hard drive, just incase something happens and you need to restore it by other means than Win 7.. After scanning and all that, restart, run it again.. Restart, then try to install the program again. See what it does..

Like I mentioned, it worked fine on mine, so, I dont know what to tell ya other than that. If anything, at least your registry will be cleaned up haha... If that doesnt do it, then you'll have to speak with Bill..

Exact same issue trying to install on a fresh Windows 7 64bit OS. Installed/running Pegasus 2.02.0780 and trying to update it via update manager. No other errors, tried fresh install and reg cleaner.
