Pegasus and Linux

Hey, I haven't bought a Gryphon ... yet. I assume, to make life easier, I'm going to need Pegasus up and running for updates and custom tunes, correct? If so, anyone have any ideas on the easiest setup for Ubuntu Linux 8.10? Am I going to have to break down and install WINE? I'd like to avoid Micro-, once it's all said and done.

Thanks!

You don't need to be Bill, to answer this. :-) If anybody, at all, has experienced running Pegasus with Linux, I'd like to hear their experiences. I'm not going to be the first ... ... ... am I?

You might be! I don't THINK Pegasus has been ported to Linux. I'm 99.9% sure it's Windows only. Bill writes applications like that in VB, if I'm not wrong, and, I know it's happiest with Windows XP, not Vista.

Lol, well, I won't be able to "port" it, per se. I'm just wondering if I'll have to load a Windows environment (WINE) to get it to work. I haven't used Microsoft Win in about a year, and I'd like to keep going that way, if possible. However, if it's the only way, I'll see if I can get it to run on WINE. If I can, I'll post anything I find out in a new thread.
