I went to the Pegasus software and every time i try to load the first step of software in it says it is not available.I tried it last night and today,no luck!

I don't really understand this error. Are you saying you can't download it from PHP's website? Or, once it's downloaded, does it not install? Or, if installed, does it not run when you try to run it? All three are different problems.

And, what is your operating system? Windows XP, Vista, or 64-bit Vista?

Let us know the answers to these questions and we'll try to help.

OK, so I think you are saying you've downloaded it to your PC? Did it install? And, if so, did you follow these instructions from the Pegasus User Manual to get it to connect to your Gryphon:

"Troubleshooting
Windows Vista: If you are running Windows Vista and are not able to get the device to
connect to the software, you may be required to temporarily disable the Windows User
Account Control (UAC) in order to update your device. We understand that this may
make some users uncomfortable and if the idea of disabling the UAC is not a valid option
then we recommend that you install the software on a machine that is running another
version of Windows such as XP, NT, 2K or ME.
To disable the UAC, go to the Windows button and select [Control Panel], [User Accounts
and Family Safety], and then select [User Accounts]. Select [Turn User Account
Control on or off] and then on the next screen uncheck the [Use User Account Control
(UAC) to help protect your computer] check box. After clicking [OK], the computer will
need to reboot in order to complete the change. The Pegasus software should now
work correctly and allow the software to connect to the device."

And, if this is not the problem, please let us know exactly where the problem is occurring. The "dosen't load at all" statement is not really helpful.

There is a guide for pegasus and vista installation.
If you have vista 64 bit Bill is working on that.

I have just Straight Vista.I suck at explaining this,i got on Pegasus Update Client,Installation Instructions and User Guide,the first thing it tells you to do is download client Software http://www.phptune.con/Downloads/pegasus setup.exe,to protect your software.It comes up as can't be found,so i can't get past that step.

Now I understand the problem! That link in the installation instructions is bad (and I thought Corey was going to remove it?), but, I think with everything going on, she just forgot.

Here's a valid link: (see my next post in this thread - the url changed when the old server broke).
About 1/3 down the page, just to the right of what looks like a "screen shot" you'll see a link titled "Pegasus V2.01.0127". Click on that and you'll start downloading the installer. Once you have it, double click on it to install Pegasus on your machine.

Do remember to follow the instructions I gave you earlier in this thread about disabling the Windows User Account Control.

Sorry we were so slow to catch on to what your problem was.
