so just some results from installing the edge. i had to turn the the max egt setting all the way up so it would not back down. but with the edge on setting 0 my egts across the borad seem to be lower, either that or my analog gauge was really off

Digital gauges
![]() As for accuracy, it's really a toss-up. The analog gauge is obviously going to react slower than the digital. However, the human brain is not optimized for viewing digital readouts and converting it to an actual "comparison". By comparison I mean, what the actual value is compared to where in the allowable range the value is located. The brain prefers to visually see a comparison....and I think that the EGT readout on the Attitude monitor can be converted to a bar graph. Last edited by cleatus12r; 02-18-2010 at 04:12 PM. |
