Default Do I need to leave my chip in stock until warm?

I am going to install my chip this afternoon after work, but I am unsure of whether I need to let the truck warm up in stock? I thought I read somewhere that PHP's tunes compensate for a cold motor somehow, but I may be dreaming that or someting.

Thanks.

You can have it it in any position when cold, just drive it NORMAL until it warms up completely.

With what I have seen of Bill's tunes, the "start in stock when cold" thing doesn't necessarily fly.

He is keeping a lot of things very close to stock until the engine gets up to a decent operating temperature. Being in South Carolina, the truck probably never sees what Dave and I consider cold....so just be easy on it for the first few miles.

Well, I'm sure it isn't what you're used to, but its been pretty cold this year. Today is one of the warmer days, low started at about 24 degress, high should be about 50.

Thanks for the help, though, to be safe I'll just take it easy until she warms up <----- that's good advice anytime

No

I'm still waiting for the UPS email notification that its been delivered. When I get that, I'm leaving work to go home and install it. Then we have dinner at the in-laws and I already told the wife "We're taking MY truck tonight!"
