Long post? Please!

I can't say for sure what tunes are actually on your chip. If you ordered a 120 HP, then that's what you should have gotten.

Your "new" stock isn't as powerful as your "old" stock? Being that you have a 99.5 truck, you likely got PMT1 as your base code. It's nearly impossible to say what the actual power difference is without a dyno or 1/4 mile time slip. My guess is that you are not used to the torque converter clutch apply strategy and might be "fooled", but I have never driven your truck and I may be way off base.

I will give PHP a jingle and see what they actually put on your chip.

More than likely, the build sheet just had a typo with the 100 & 120. I'll have Bill check your files when he gets back this week. As for the stock tune, I don't have an answer for you, but what Cody suggested sounds feasible. We'll ask Bill about that, too, I guess.

Truthfully, the 140 for stock injectors/HPOP/etc. is really a "fun" tune. I mean "fun" as in really isn't going to get you anywhere near 140 extra horsepower but it will make a lot of excessive smoke.

Personally, save your money.
