Default Pheonix Chip

Lookng for a chip with
Stock, 65hp tow
80hp daily ,100hp performance
I have a 2003 f350 7.3l stock motor normally do not tow over 6000 pounds.

Do you have gauges? You will most likely be ok with those tunes, but if you get on it in the 100hp Performance tune the EGT's can skyrocket, trust me. Thankfully I have gauges, so I knew to let out of the go-pedal once I saw how hot I was getting. I actually was able to tow my 5th wheel (just under 14,000lbs) in 65hp Tow on really flat terrain, so I think you would be ok if you're only towing 6,000lbs. I would consider and 80hp Tow in addition to what you are already looking at, just to have the extra power, plus I personally like the shift patterns of the tow tunes better in the city. Once I get on the interstate, it's all 80hp daily. Good luck, either way you will be happy with what you get!
