Default Quick question

I am about to buy a PHP phoenix from a guy who had it on a 02 7.3, I have an 03. They are the same correct? just double checking before I commit. Also, it is free to have tunes changed right? (send it in at my expense then have 80 performance changed to valet or whatever). Thanks.

Yes it will work. It will have to be recalibrated to your PCM code and mods that are on your truck. So it will not be free, not sure how much though.

Actually, as long as you have the same transmission type and one isn't California emissions, you should be a plug and play kind of deal. You may want to check DPC numbers on both PCMs, but I have a hunch it will work just fine the way it is.

I'm the one with it for sale. The truck is gone, but I am sure Bill has history on my chip from when I ordered it. My truck was not a Callifornia truck. And I did not have shift kit in for tunes also so you know. I thought I had both 80 tunes but it was the whisper that was the other one. Just stock 4r100. thanks for hellp guys.
