Default Looking at phoenix chip have ?'s

Hello all I have a early 99 truck with auto trans and am looking at getting the phoenix chip. Computer code is xle4. I tow a 10,000 lb fifth wheel and sometimes pull a 4000lb boat behind it. Thinking about the following tunes.
1-stock
2-25 extreme tow
3-40 heavy tow
4-65 mod tow
5- 80 dd
6-100perfomance
Are these good choices for the early truck? Only mods are 4" exhaust and 6637 airfilter. Currently running Superchips 1705 programmer. What differences/ improvements can I expect to see running PHP tunes over the Superchips? Any changes I should make on my tune selections? Thanks.

The tunes you have chosen will be good for you. You can expect much-improved shift points and feel as well as less smoke.

If you have a pyrometer (which you should if you're towing that much weight), you will notice similar power but with lower EGT.

Ok thankyou for your quick response. I do have full gauge pack. I realize the early trucks respond differently with the smaller injectors that is why I stayed away from the higher horsepower settings. Main goals are better towing manners as well as greater efficiency towing and solo. Lower egts are always nice also. Is the 80-dd tune my best bet for solo mpgs or should I do something else like maybe the 60-dd?
