i bought the 6 position switch and just put it on and only got three spots filled. the last spot was the lobe mode and when i turn it on it just kills my truck. i have a 97 powerstoke. cody i have been meaning to call but its hard while im at school and with your calling hours. any body have a solution shy of sending it back

Can you turn it to the lope mode while driving and have it continue running? If not, there is a problem with the programming on the chip. 5 and 6 should run just fine as well as they are simply "stock" settings.

If the truck dies going from 3 to 4 at an idle, it may be your trucks' reaction to the severe changes in IPR and ICP...try switching it with the RPM around 1500 then let the idle drop down.

no when i go from 2 to 3 which is 80 hp to lobe it shuts off. i can turn it on going down the road but when i come to a stop it shuts off

Sounds to me like your truck doesn't like it much.....and I think that we discussed it on the phone; some trucks don't respond well to it. Some go nuts with the romping, some idle normally, and unfortunately, yours dies.

It's completely up to you what you want to do with it. Since it's a tune issue, it won't be too hard to fix....just tell us what you want in its place.
