The noise is from the tunes, no doubt. Just the cranked up power. Makes sense, if you think about it, oil fired injectors.... how you think they increase the power to them?

When I had 6 settings on my chip, I didn't notice it. But since I had them wipe the 1pos and replace the 65hp DD with stock, like I siad, NOW I can hear the difference. Maybe I'll get a video/sound byte today, it's raining like crazy and I have nothing better to do.

It might not be the HPOP, but like I said, it definately gets loudes, like there is more pressure.

Good point about the stock setting which would fill the empty slot. Anti-theft is invaluable too for someone like me who lives in Texas only three hours from the Mexican border. When my truck was brand new with the sticker still on it some maggot tried to pry the door lock out and steal it. I ended up having to put one of those locking steering wheel rods on it. I forget what they even call them now...
