Just wanted to have some prayers sent for my dad.

My dad just found out on Saturday that his only brother died on Wednesday.

My dad is also in deep sorrow because of his sisterinlaw and how she handled the funeral. It was an imediate family funeral only. Only she and her son's family were the only ones there and she left her daughter out too. The funeral was on Wednesday the same day he died and a cremation ceremony on Thursday also.

My dad probably would have never known about the death unless my mother and her great facebook networking skills with the relatives found out about it.

I don't hold anything against my aunt she has always been 1 card short of a full deck. To just hope my cousin finds forgiveness in her heart for her mother.

I am so sorry for your dad. Why is that people have to act like when people die? (Spoken from experience!) We will certainly keep your dad, your cousin, and your family in our prayers.

I too understand how family can be in those times. People sometimes do some things that just don't seem to make sense.
I'll put prayers on my list. Sorry to hear about your family loss.

How sad, Lars. I hope your Dad finds some comfort in the memories of times he shared with his Brother. When all is said and done, they are all we really inherit from someone who passes on.
