Just found out that a student I had in 5th grade four years ago committed suicide this morning. I can't think. Abbey had a little sister and a little brother. Can't imagine what the family is going through (I know her mom, too). My other "kids," too from four years ago. Just talked to one; she's a mess. I'm going to try and get to Utah for the funeral -- for me, for the family, and for my kids who have got to be devastated. Things may be hectic this week. I apologize in advance.

I'm so sorry for you Corey! It has to be so hard to see a promising life ended that way. My thoughts are with your student's family and with you and yours.
