Yes you can order your gryphon and pay for the custom tunes you want without having the truck with you. What you will need to do is as soon as you get your gryphon, put it in the truck and find your HEX code. Once you send that to PHP they can start your tunes, be prepared for a wait a bit for your tunes to come it though, it will take a few weeks, up to 6... :/, but you can run your canned tunes until then.
