    Re: Hex codes questions

Technically, it wouldn't cause any damage to use an incorrect calibration strategy. The truck may not start, or if it does it may not function 100%, but it shouldn't break anything.

    With that...

That's awesome! Very interesting project and I would really like to see how it comes along. I look around and see if I can find a way to make a speed sensor setup. I seem to recall coming across...

Are you messing with the Grand Marquis????
  10. Re: When to use "w/ Modified Valve Body" tunes?

Like Cody said, it all comes down to preference. In most cases, the standard tuning works well... Even with a modified transmission. If, however, you find the shifting to be a bit too aggressive,...

Re: Do I Need To Update My Tunes?

When changing the cats, did you happen to possibly reset the PCM? In some cases, it may be necessary to disconnect the battery to allow the PCM to fully reset after making intake or exhaust...

Re: cant get driver to work with windows 10

Yes, there is. There is a new Pegasus install that addresses some of the Win 8/10 issues.

The biggest problem we were running into was the fact that up until around 2013, the USB controller on the...

    Re: Re-format chip ID

It's $25.00 to reformat the chip, not including any tuning.

We don't have a form for that. You'll need to call in and set it up to send the chips in.

    Hope this helps. :)

    Re: Power issues in 6.4L

    Carlos,

It sounds like the vehicle has had the DPF (diesel particulate filter) removed and the truck is going into regen from time to time. That would explain the limited power and the excessive...

    Re: 2006 F150 5.4L will not start

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I'm not sure what happened, but it sounds like the file got corrupted during the read process. It's a relatively simple process to recover the PCM.

    First...

    Re: Latest calibration box codes?

Yeah, you wouldn't have gotten those by guessing. Fortunately, one of dealers works for Ford and he gets me all the good stuff. :-)

Hope all is well. Holler some time.

From what I have found so far, these are what I have available. These are all uploads from customers since I have no way to determine the calibration names either. :P

  23. HydraFlash Won't Install - "Unable to Start Application" Error
