Default Gryphon (and Evolution) Splash Screens.

Hey all. We've decided to provide the popular splash screen for the Gryphon here on the forums. Now you don't have to go hunt them down on the website. (Okay, they're not THAT hard to find :looking:...)

We hope that you enjoy them. If you have a cool splash that you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll put it on here as well as on the website. Otherwise you can post it here for for all to enjoy.

To use these images:
  • 1. [Right-Click] the picture you'd like, select either [Save As] or [Save Image As] and save to your hard drive.
  • 2. Run Pegasus and connect your Gryphon unit.
  • 3. Click on [Utilities] and then [Change Splash Screen].
  • 4. Click on [File] and then [Open Image].
  • 5. Browse to the location of the file you just saved, select that file and then click [Open].
  • 6. Set the Splash Delay Time to the number of seconds you'd like the splash to display during bootup (key on).
  • 7. Click on [File] and then [Upload Image] to send the image to the Gryphon.

If you submitted one of these images to us, please PM or e-mail us so that we can give you credit!

Thanks to Mark 123 for the Ford F-150 4X4 Splash Screen!

Enjoy!

I had my edge converted to a gryphon so I never had the pegasus software. Can I still change the flash on my screen?

Pegasus is software you install on your computer that enables you to update your Gryphon and change the splash screen. You can read more about it here:

ab46501,
Yes you can change the splash screen.
Just make sure the truck is at level 0 STOCK before unplugging it an then hooking it up to the computer to get a new splash screen.

wooooo....Wait a second. I've never done this, in fact today truck is on level 2 and while I was making some new splash screens I changed a few then took my tuner back out to my truck to take a look.

Is this wrong and if so what are the repercussion from not doing what you stated above?

PROTOCOL!!!!!
ALWAYS PUT TRUCK BACK TO STOCK WHEN CONNECTING TO PEGASUS VIA THE COMPUTER!!!!!
Especially when changing memory dependent items such as splash screens.
Note: When using the data streaming/logging feature this isn't necessary.

Crap, I just pulled mine out and didn't do this, what will happen now? Can I put it back in and expect it to still keep my tune valid and safe?

Data streams, splash screens and the HP calculator are the only features I know of right now where you dont have to reprogram to stock.
