:2thumbs: Keep me in the loop! My finger is on the trigger to order the it, I just don't want to spend $400 and it not be what I need.

You bet, will do. Heading out of town for work, should be back by sunday. If it arrived should have some results posted monday night. Its been at canadien customs since the 22 just got released today! I guess they wanted to make sure i wasnt going to terrorize the country with my php programmer:shrug:

I really hope it works like I think it will. Only remaining questions are fuel consumption, does it come with the monitor probe and can it turn off the CEL for the EGR delete.

Jeremy Wed, May 30th, 2012 05:54 PM

No egt probe, you have to buy that. And no on the CEL that is a PCM function. You have to get your PCM programed to ignore that CEL or get a regular tuner with custom tunes that removes the CEL for EGR delete.

I'm sorry, I didnt see that you had your EGR deleted.

It's not deleted yet, I just ordered the delete kit. I may get it and if it throws a code I can plug the EGR back in and zip tie it out of the way. Would that stop the truck from throwing the code?

Does your 05 have a MAF sensor? If it doesnt you may not have to worry about a CEL for EGR flow if you leave the EGR valve plugged in.

I have no idea if it does or not. How can I tell?

If you do, there is a sensor inbetween the air filter and and the turbo inlet. If you dont, you'll have the wires for the sensor and the plug that goes to it, but its plugged into a dummy plug instead of the maf sensor. About a 2" square sensor is visible if you have a MAF.

Rheatherly Fri, June 1st, 2012 07:11 AM

If I do is there a work around for it? Either a dummy plug or leaving the EGR plugged in but moved out of the way?

Jeremy Fri, June 1st, 2012 05:49 PM

Sorry, i dont understand your question..
