worked out better than when I tried to do it online. Thanks all for all your help. Also
they sent candy which was cool. Just a few more question where can I find how to
put the custom tunes into the programmer and a guide for pegasus use. Thanks a
lot guys for the support.

So, you have the Monochrome Gryphon? You use Pegasus with that model.

Go ahead and play with your toy in your truck to your heart's content. When you are told your custom tunes are ready, set your truck back to stock and plug your Gryphon into the PC with Pegasus running. The Gryphon screen will change from red to green when it "connects".

Then, click on [Updates]->[Download Custom Tunes] and follow the instructions. When finished, unplug the Gryphon from the PC and return it to your truck.

Turn the ignition ON, then plug the Gryphon in. From this point, you should be able to load your custom tune into your truck's PCM.

Yeah I got the regular Gryphon PHP and yeah the pegasus program that
came on the disk is so much better than trying to install it from the site.
No errors or anything which was awesome.

So I got a question, how do I put the truck back to stock? I was kind of
trying to look for it while playing around with the programmer and couldn't
find the "reset button" to put it back to stock. I'm guessing it's where the
canned tunes are. Also how does pegasus work? When the custom tunes
are done do I just go on pegasus and download it? Or is it going to be
where I put my hex code in the forum to dl? Thanks for your help. I must
say this programmer is sweet.

Str088 - if you look at the Power Programming menu on the Gryphon now, you'll see there is a "Return to Stock" choice. If you select that choice, the Gryphon will reload your stock tune into the PCM and the Gryphon will display a zero "0" in the upper right corner of the Display Screen.

Pegasus is able to access a server at PHP. With your Gryphon connected, it reads the Serial Number (S/N) and then looks in the server for tune files with that S/N when you click on [Updates]->[Download Custom Tunes]. If it finds those tunes, it asks if you want to install them. You just click on "Yes".

I see, cool. I found where the stock program is at lol. All I need to do is play
with the programmer. So I had a question about how long it takes for the
custom tunes to be completed? I ordered two and wanted to know if you guys
how long it took for yours so I can make a time frame for myself. Thanks guys.

I think right now the length that it takes will vary depending on how Corey feels... She has had some health problems lately, there is a good thread she has made to explain what has gone on lately, and she is working when she can, but the less she can work, the slower it takes to get everything else done. other than this I think it will take 4-8 weeks, sometimes sooner, sometimes later, again depending on how she has been lately.
PHP is extremely busy, and with 1/3rd of the employees out of commission for a bit, and the other 2 trying to do whatever they can to keep up, it gets pretty tough. :/
But, no matter how long the take, I know that you will be extremely pleased with the purchase, and if you aren't then PHP will do what they can to fix whatever you are unhappy with! :cheesy smile:

I see that's okay. I just wanted a time frame, I like having a bubble of expectation.
I don't know what it takes to make a program for a custom tuning, so I just wanted
to be a little more informed about it. Thanks for the info guys, everyone who has
replied has been a major help to me. Thanks again.

Well I just received the custom tunes today. Faster than I thought I would
And am very impressed with it. Love this programmer!! Thanks php.

How long did you have to wait for them? And that's great you have them! looks like things are clearing up over at php :D

Hm, I got the programmer on the 19th of April, so I'd say a week and a half. It was
easy also to put the tunes in the programmer. Just update and everything basically
does the process automatically. Also I would like to thank everybody at PHP for fixing
an error on my part as far as the ordering went for the custom tunes. Aside from that
hickup everything was smooth. The difference in response and acceleration is night
and day. I just love what I got for the money. Thanks a lot again for you guys' help.

That is pretty quick! Congratz, and I'm glad you like them!
