Air Force One CAI

Anybody know where to get one of these for these trucks? I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a place that sells them.

Air Force One 16418 complete intake 5.4 3V - F150online Forums
Edit: Nevermind, I didn't see that you had a 4.6L

Longshot270 Sat, February 12th, 2011 10:19 PM

Considering you have a 4.6L truck engine, you are very limited on intake options.

Yeah that is what I'm getting at. There is not nearly as much of a demand for the 4.6L intakes as the 5.4L intakes. IIRC the 4.6s were not even in a third of the total production trucks.

Lonestar, I was shocked when I saw that posting too. You never see anybody selling those.

Found THIS place that lists them but when you try to Checkout, it's broken. May have to give em a call.

Even more confused now. Got some opinions from Mike at Troyer. Asked about the Airforce 1, CAI, and the Gotts mod. First and foremost, he said their dyno testing of the "gotts mod" that power dropped OFF because air is still restricted. Said they believe in real CAI and recommended the Airaid(based on their extensive testing). Airforce 1 is good too but is hard to come by because the company is currently being restructured.

He added that I'm on the right track with my thinking in wanting/looking at CAI, Underdrive pulleys, efans, throttle body spacer, and also recommended looking into ignition upgrades, valve body as well.

Haha. The TBS is BS. I had one and they DON'T work, bought it before I read about it being as worthless as a paperweight.
