Darren from PA

Hello there. My name is Darren. I'm from north central PA and own an '04 F150 5.4L Supercab 4x4. I spend most of my online time over at F150online. I'm good with exhausts, thats my high point. My truck is running 2.5" true duals with rear cats removed, 11" body Magnaflows, and 4x18 45'd tips ( have a listen ). Mostly is stock other than black painted headlamps and fog lamps, 20% tint, and a 5100 series Bilstein shock and strut kit. Looking to buy my Gryphon very soon, before I buy the wheels and tires I have planned. Heres a couple truck pictures.

18x9 Pro Comp Xtreme 7089 wheels with either 285/65/18 or 305/65/18 BFGoodrich A/T KO tires. I want the best economy I can get so I'm considering the 285s but the look and extra .9" of height of the 305s would look great.

Definitely love those tires...I am in the same boat as you, I cant decide on which to go with. Which I will probably regret it if I dont go with the 305 though. Ill probably go with the MT's, because I can get a good price on them. But I also havent managed to where these tires out yet

Pretty truck, Darren, and welcome to the forum. :howdy:

A couple of "appearance" items you might consider: "Stealth" 3157 bulbs for the front turn signals to get rid of the amber look in the lenses (unless you like that look), and, a lower honeycomb valence grill to match the upper grill that gets rid of the "gaping hole" Ford put down there. Both of these mods are really cheap and I think they improve the appearance of our trucks.

Welcome to the forums, Darren. That's a nice looking truck. Nice looking barn, for that matter. :D

Hope you enjoy it here. :2thumbs:

Very good points. I kind of do like the amber bulbs, and I might actually try a roush lower grill project eventually, because I have a Roush grill for my truck but I'm painting it black before I install it.

Thats awesome man. I grew up here since I was about 3. I love it all except for the winters. The snow is fun in some aspecs but the ice and freezing wind gets old after awhile, 4 months of it sucks!
