FU2 Chip - No help in problem - who can reply?
 

I have been trying to connect with someone at Powerhungry for a long time. I have an issue with smoke and unable to get a new tune that works...been going on for a Year now...Does anyone reply or phone or email????

We have been dealing with this for a long time now......

However, if you give me until Saturday morning, I will transfer all of the fuel maps from my programming for my personal truck (I'm as picky as they come).

I see what the problem is...or what the problem most likely is.
I'll be back on here when I finish to let you know when everything is done.

Bill and everyone at PHP have given me the BEST service, just because your truck has some issues that others dont, making it more difficult, doesnt mean they are at fault... if you want perfect get a live tune, that being said they are very tolerable of posts such as this.

Live tuning may be out of the question as the customer (original poster) is in Canada....

I made some spare time.

Give Version 3 a try. I think you'll be happy.

We have the programmer, but not the same computer....how do we get that programing, onto another usb ? I am writing on behalf of Conrad and Russell in Edmonton. The original computer that was uploaded cannot be accessed any more. I need a new access code so we can install the updates. Please advise asap....We need to get the tune updated.

All of the files that we had for you were for stage 2's so that's what I made (version 3).

There is NOTHING there for Stage 1's.

Thanks...but I thought you were going to send me the files from your personal truck for the Stage 1's....we have been changing the injectors and working with Full Force (injector company) and still have trouble - Now we really need the Stage One injector program.

Yeah, the ones for my truck are Stage 2 programs just like you had initially purchased.

The only other files that were in there at one time were for stock injectors. The "version 3" files are the ones that were built a month ago that are similar to my personal truck.

You'll have to order tuning for stage 1's if that's what you have now.

Thanks for the Stage 2 programing, but we have had nothing but trouble from the beginning with this tune. The main issue was smoke from day one with the stock injectors. We tried Stage 2 injectors from Full Force and worked with them together with Russ the Ford Mechanic, and still were unable to get the tune to work correctly. We are still experiencing smoke, although slightly better, but the fuel consumpution is very very poor. Full Force recommended we try the Stage 1 Single Shot Injectors, so have now put those in to try to get the power and smoke and fuel tuning together. We have been working on this problem since we first purchased and are not seeming to have very much luck. The single shot stage 1's are 50hp above stock. We really need to have a Stage 1 programing for these injectors so the truck can run properly, as all other trouble shooting is not working. Can you do up a program for me so we can resolve the issues? Little stuck on trying to get this working.....

Thank you for getting back to me. We were charged for the re writing of our original tune, on the 3rd re write. We have been trying to solve the smoke problem and had to change the injectors and now waiting for the right tune to run the truck. We have been trying to get this resolved for months now. As we have paid already for changes, it is possible to have a discounted rate for the New Tune...yet again....and if so, what is the guaranteed time it will take to produce? We need a firm date, as waiting all these months is quite frustrating.

How do I get the new programming done? What is the final cost as i have paid for rewrites on the first tune...and when can they be done?
