PCM/ECM Repairs

Does anyone recommend a shop for control module repairs? I don't know if someone got into this ECM before me, or the solder around these connectors broke from natural causes.

Yes of course I took it apart. After I saw the connectors were broke, I couldn't help myself.

There are several places that can do repairs on ECMs:

http://dieseltechchatt.com - Great for EEC-IV / EEC-V ECMs and related IDMs.

http://circuitboardmedics.com - Great for a variety of ECMs, TCMs, FICMs, instrument clusters, and many other circuit board types.

http://ficmrepair.com The place to go to have your 6.0L or Navistar FICM (IDM) repaired.

I hope this is helpful!

By the way, those two empty spots are perfectly normal. You're worrying yourself over nothing.
