Remember those toy Fire-Trucks you used to have?

Now you can get the real things... CHEAP! :yikes2:

Fully loaded fire trucks for as low as $5,000!!! How freaking cool is that? :disbelief:

My personal favorites (crazy cheap)...

I get to play with fire trucks as often as I want.....and even when I don't want to like the beginning of fire season that's nearly underway. I'm not in any of the pictures though as they're older. I joined the RPVFC 2.5 years ago.

We just sold this one a couple weeks ago. Granted it's not as cool as the ones you posted.

Pump (Structure) 23 is really cool. That's what I really consider a fire truck. :) The big, square cab, pump controls on the side, you know... that old "Emergency" look.

Very cool stuff and a nice looking group of folks there. :D

Really cool!
To show up to an event in one of those!
Then when it gets outa control or to hot just hose the crowd down.

It's a pain in the left leg (literally) to drive though. The clutch is ridiculously hard to depress....and it goes straight down through the floor like the old trucks used to be so it's not exactly a natural motion while shifting.

Oh, and as far as it being a diesel....yep, it's a Yamaha. (6-71 Detroit).
