Kickdown Firmness??

Got my gryphon today, I am very impressed. Drove it around some on level 1&2. I have searched and read many post on the shift firmness settings. Can I adjust the kickdown? I like the firmer shifts, but when I am going 55 or so and stomp on it, it kicks down really hard, makes my axle clunk. It is awesome not having to wait on the power to slowly come on, just wondered if it was possible to tame it down a hair? I guess the 4-2 shift.

Maybe I need to rebuild rear axle.:giggle:

Thanks

Now I can't wait for the custom tunes so I can put on the aftermarket intake.:yesnod:

I don't think the Shift Firmness settings in Custom Options are going to do anything for you here. I'm pretty sure they all deal with WOT upshifts, since they're labeled that way.

Bill can possibly try to "tame" this a bit in your custom tunes if you ask for it.

I've never noticed what you're talking about though, so maybe, there IS something going on in your axle. (Doesn't seem likely though).

It's not that big of deal. May be where my exhaust is routed through coming down clunking on something. Can't believe how much more it pulls when you romp on it.

We can definitely tone down the shifting in the custom files. Just make sure to let me know there's an issue and we'll build the fix into the files.

Ok, when they ran my duals out the back, I wanted em hid with downspouts under the back bumper, When my truck took off, it made the back squat enough to come down and rub the exhaust. With the help of a saw, everything is good to go:thumbs up yellow:
