Removing my intake... will the tunes suffer?

Ok, question. I have logged over 25,000 miles of data on the intake kit I have been running and the only thing it has been good for is droning and rough idles. So it's coming off.

I do however have a Gryphon with custom tunes. Will putting the intake back to stock affect these negatively? Or will I not even notice?

Thanks!

If I had to guess I would say you are gone to need a new/altered tune. Since it takes tuning to put one on, I am gone to assume it takes tuning to take one off otherwise it seems if that you will be running rich.

Someone else will probably chime in here shortly.

Jason,

I updated your files and placed them on the server. You can use Pegasus to download them.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow, awesome! I'll load them up when I get back to the truck on Friday.

Thank you Bill!

Jason, you might want to try the homemade intake design, now that you've taken the commercial one off. I'm convinced it is giving me about 0.5 mpg better economy. Does not need a retune, and does not drone.
